Purchase: These boots were purchased at Merkel's Shoes, Gilbertsville, PA for $99.00 + tax. I was looking for a great fitting, durable, attractive western boot for pull-and-go convenience for barn work.
Likes: I have a 'mangled' left foot and find shoes of any type difficult to fit standing and especially walking. I tried on several pairs of western boots of all price ranges and found the Work Western from Double H to be the best fitting, best quality boot available. The leather is supportive without being stiff and they wear like iron! There is ample support in the footbed, even for my left leg, which bears all weight to the outside of the foot! The sole is comfortable, without sacrificing sturdiness - most 'comfortable' foot beds collapse on the outside of my left foot over time due to the unevenness of my weight-bearing - these Double H's don't! They're as comfortable as my sneakers (more so, actually, since they support my ankles, too). They're made so that they can be resoled/reheeled, too! (Gotta love that!)
Dislikes: I don't have any dislikes! The pair I have are black & I'm going back to buy a pair in brown!
Quality: High quality soft leather, sewn sole, comfortable foot bed.
