Purchase: I bought this saddle on eBay for $600. I have a really broad backed horse with low withers and this seemed to be a good choice since it was built on full quarter horse bars.
Likes: The saddle is very light. I think this is do to the fact that the leather seems a little thinner than other saddles I own, but this didn't bother me. In fact, as time goes by, I appreciate a lighter saddle.
Dislikes: The saddle was fine. It didn't fit, but the seller offered a 30 day trial period. I returned it within two weeks. My problem is that although I ordered the saddle June 17. It was being built so I didn't receive it until the third week of July. I sent it back August 6th. It's now November 1, 2012 and I still haven't received a refund. The first excuse was that they are a small shop and couldn't keep up -- "be patient." Then, it was that they were reorganizing the business and that put them behind. The latest was that there were health issues and would I consider just taking a saddle instead of a refund. Be VERY careful.
Quality: The saddle quality seems to be fine considering it only cost $600. Don't compare it to #3,000 wade forks. For the money, it's worth it.
Summary: Although the saddle is good quality for the price, but very careful. The return policy seems great, but getting your money back after the return may be difficult. I'm still waiting for mine.
