Purchase: For Christmas, my parents got me two horses, one problem. I had no saddle. I've been riding Natural Horse Man ship and in a treeless saddle for 6 years and love it, I hate English saddles because I feel like I will fall off. The high horn of this saddle takes care of that feeling. I got my Circle Y for my birthday, it was used and had a girth and breastcollar. I got it on Ebay for about $80.00 and it is worth over $300.00.
Likes: I love the treeless part, it flows with my high withered Trakhner gelding. Sebastian, my gelding, is used to an English saddle. It is also very comfortable and easy to clean.
Dislikes: My gelding has had a hard change from a lightweight treed English to a heavy treeless Western. He has gotten very snooty at the trot because he is uncomfortable.
Quality: The saddle is very good quality and lasts year round temperatures in a stall in our barn.
Summary: I love the saddle very much and it's easy for me, a 13 year old, to carry around and swing onto my giant gelding. But he has had a hard English to Western transition.
