Purchase: Purchased from Smartpak for around $50 a pair. I bought 2 pairs to have a set of 4 to use as schooling boots on my young eventer. They're white too, so they look great on my bays.
Likes: The material is easy to clean (even for white!) I just brush all the hair and loose dirt out with an old scrub brush and hose them off. They don't hold much water and dry very quickly. I've used them cross-country schooling and they never get soaked with water and heavy. The velcro is extremely secure and the boots have never slipped or rubbed. They look fantastic on, and very little dirt gets under them.
Dislikes: The "loop" end of the velcro is a little long, but scissors fixed that! There is also no binding around the edges of the neoprene or perforated holes like my old Woof boots had.
Quality: That being said, so far these have held up much better than my old Woofs, which met the trash can after one too many rips in the neoprene. Fit well, wash well, and very sturdy. All the materials are great quality and look like they will last through many seasons of use.
Summary: I highly recommend these, and they come in quite a few colors too! Would definitely buy them again.
Also, I have mediums on front and larges on back for my 16.2 Irish TB with pretty standard bone and they fit great. They might be a bit tall on horses under 16 hands.
