Likes: Hate to put under trail saddle, they are definitely pretty enough for show! Have used on 5-6 horses, all TWH/SSH and they are GREAT! We tried several saddles before we just made the leap and went with these untried and we could not be happier. Cynthia Wright is wonderful to deal with and we had the saddles quickly. Not only are we riding in more comfort than I can believe, but our horses are even moving better with the "V" rigging. I loved my old saddle and didn't really want a new one but I had no horn on that one and the youngsters get quicker every year so I made the leap - and I love it. My husband is thin boned and this saddle fits him comfortably for hours. An even better perk is my knees never have any discomfort now. After riding for any amount of time, from my English to endurance to Aussie saddle, I end up riding w/o my stirrups from knee pain. That has not happened to me once this year. We tried Steele, Royal King, and a few others that friends had. In our opinion, they could not hold a candle to either of these saddles. Did I mention we love them? Another nice point was how it opened up one of our mares. She was going OK but choppy if we tried stepping her up. From the first time she has worn this saddle,Angel has smoothed out and sped up. She is a different horse to ride and I totally attribute it to the way this saddle fits her. She is so much more comfortable herself and it shows.
Dislikes: I hated the first time we rubbed a tree and discolored the side of the stirrup. It wasn't as bad the 2nd time. I have no complaints and we have used 30 or so times since September. I would recommend leather straps instead of nylon, we feel they are more secure. We had one saddle with each and went to leather for both.
Quality: Very very well made. High quality.
Summary: If you are looking for a nice well made saddle for your gaited horse, I would highly recommend trying one of these. I believe they even have a limited return policy in the event that your saddle didn't fit.
