Purchase: I acquired this saddle pad at my local tack store for $247.95 plus tax.
I wanted to get a top quality saddle pad that could be used for roping.
Likes: This particular pad is powered with a vented Zoombag insert that is scientifically engineered to dissipate energy, reducing injury and stress on equine athletes. It's breathable design remains securely in place, providing conformal layered protection. The 1/8 inch blended felt top is designed to be used alone as a training pad or under a show blanket in the arena. It's durable orthopedic grade felt bottom absorbs moisture, remains soft and pliable, and provides excellent shock absorption. The pad is one inch in total thickness.
Dislikes: There really isn't anything that I don't like about this pad. The price is a little high, and the pad may be a little difficult to clean and to keep clean.
Quality: The overall quality and construction are definitely second to none.
Summary: An absolutely wonderful pad!!!
