Purchase: I bought this halter at green hawk because I needed a new barn halter since my horse broke her old one. It cost $29.95 without tax.

Likes: I like the cost! It was very inexpensive and it has lasted 6 months and hasn't broken yet! It was a nice brown and the leather oiled into a nice colour.

Dislikes: This halter was very stiff when I first bought it which made it very difficult to fit to my horse. I also find the hardware colour doesn't fit the leather.

Quality: This halter is on the thinner side for its leather but since it was only thirty bucks I think it's quite the bang for your buck. The hardware is a weird gold slash silver colour which I do not find flattering for this halter. I also found some green gunk on the inside the buckle on the side but it came off on my finger nail

Summary: This halter was bought as a barn halter and even though it is not beautiful it serves it's purpose. I do like having a leather halter in the barn but if your looking for something fancy this is a no no! The fixings aren't my favourite and it does have thin leather. Even with all these things it has lasted six months with no signs of breaking. I would not buy this halter again but it is very hardy!
