Purchase: I paid about 3 dollars for it at a Mr Z's shopping center! A few people that I know started using human shampoo and conditioner on their horses, so I joined in to see what all the hype was about.
Likes: It smells really good. I picked blushing apple because it was the closest thing that i could think of for a barn scented shampoo/conditioner.
It worked pretty well. I was only giving my horse a quick bath after a hard workout, so im not sure if it is a good idea to do this before a show. But if you give your horse a bath for fun, then its fine.
Dislikes: I dont think that its really meant for horses, so I wasnt really going overboard with it. I diluted the in water first, and sponged it on. Then i rinsed it off really well and put the conditioner on his mane and tail.
Other than the fact that its not meant for horses, eveything else is ok.
Quality: Quality is ok. I chose this brand because it is mild, so I figured it wouldnt irritate the skin.
Summary: I wouldnt use this all the time. I used it because my horse needed a quick bath and I didnt have any horse shampoo with me.
I think that it would be good if you used it on the mane and tail, but i really dont recommend it for their bodies. But other people swear it works as well as normal horse shampoo and conditioner. I guess it depends on who you are and your horses needs.
