Purchase: I purchased this helmet online from Dover Saddlery for $49.99. I had been riding for the past 10 years in an older Troxel Spirit and thought that maybe it was time to consider an upgrade after reading that the helmet has an oval shape rather than a round one. My Troxel helmet; besides being bulky,rubbed the top front of my forehead. I decided to give it a try.

Likes: What DON'T I like about it! It has a velvety matte finish and is amply vented. The interior cushion and netting is very soft and the chin strap is comfortable. It has a removable/replaceable visor. Best of all, it's VERY light compared to the Troxel AND it does have a nice oval shape that is so much more comfortable on my head. I really like the fact that it's low profile too. I no longer feel like I look like one of the mushroom guys from Mario Brothers.

Dislikes: There isn't anything so far I don't like.

Quality: I feel like it's a well made helmet.

Summary: I highly recommend this helmet! It's comfortable, reasonably priced and it looks good! I would feel good about wearing it in a schooling show (so long as I don't scratch it up!)
