Purchase: Bought used, like new, on eBay for $118 including shipping. My current pair of paddocks broke the zipper, which happens so often to me that I am DONE with zippers. This is my first pair of Blundstones. I need a wide boot is why I tried this brand. Mine are smooth black leather with elastic gore on sides and sturdy soles. Not sure the model number because they are not marked except for the size on the sole. These boots are light, not heavy at all.

Likes: Love these! Leather is nice and is even waterproof. They are wide enough and roomy to fit over my bunions. The top opening is not too wide so that hay doesn't drop in and arena sand doesn't kick inside. OK, a little bit, but not like other step-in paddocks I've tried. AND they're comfortable! Good stiff toe and top protection in case of getting stepped on. I like that the insole is removable so I can replace with sheepskin ones. I don't mind the pull tabs on the front and back.

Dislikes: I have to sit down to put them on. They are not step-in for me, though maybe for someone else? I wish they were an inch taller and then perhaps NO arena sand would kick up inside.

Quality: The construction and quality seem to be top-notch. I haven't seen better.

Summary: Very happy I discovered these. They answer all my needs for a barn/riding boot. Nice looking, comfortable, waterproof. I can wear the same pair for barn chores and riding. They clean up nice if I want to run errands on my way to the barn.
