Purchase: I rode in this saddle for quite some time as it was someone I was riding for saddle. She bought it brand new through a dealer in western Canada, and paid around $1100 new a few years ago. It is made in English maker that mainly makes tack.
Likes: The leather was pretty nice although on the cheaper side similar to HDR's cheaper line or new Collegiate's. The tree was really nice fitting and fit almost everything at least ok and did not sore horses. It was nice that it was a wider tree but built for a horse with higher withers. Fit Arabs and WB's nice. I really liked the position this saddle put me in for jumping and it was nice and secure. Although I didn't enjoy it as much on the flat as I found the seat was to narrow.
Dislikes: I found the seat a little narrow and deep (As you find with a lot of cheaper saddles.) The leather is not to great and the channelis a bit narrow.
Quality: The stitching and tree are good. I only wish the materials were a bit better quality. It held up to ALOT of abuse.
Summary: Good little saddle for people using it a lot and wanting a saddle that wont sore there horses and puts them in a nice position. But good luck finding one. I have not seen many.
