Purchase: Reside in Australia. Bought online on sale from Saddlers Row, IL. $80, because I have the FITS All Season (with deerskin) and adore them. Bought the Treads because no animals were killed to produce them and I wanted warm winter breeches with grip.

Likes: Nice quality, very comfortable fit and super warm.

Dislikes: The 'Tread' didn't have ANY traction at all. In fact when riding these breeches felt rather slippery! I have a normal leather saddle(hadn't been oiled etc.so no reason for the breech 'tread' to malfunction). So glad I wasn't on my "athletic" horse when I tried them !!

Quality: Well made. The 'Tread' areas (pimple/dot pattern of synthetic compound) may have been faulty(??) as they didn't grip. At all.

Summary: A shame the Tread areas had no traction because I really liked them. Returned for refund at great out of pocket expense with postage not reimbursed ~ $52USD (send/return) !. Still waiting to hear from Saddler Row if these FITS breeches were in fact faulty. :(
