Purchase: Purchased at local tack shop, cost $22.00. Bought because I like their splint boots.
Likes: I liked that they have a great assortment of colors and the sizing is adjustable for a good fit. They're also easy to clean with a dunk and swish in a bucket.
Dislikes: I don't like that the velcro that holds the boots closed is diffult to open when you're trying to remove them. The velcro sticks to everything. Also I had to return the 1st pair as the stitching attaching the velcro to the boots gave way within a week of daily riding. My tack shop allowed me to exchange them for another pair.
Quality: I like the smooth rubber of the boots, very easy to clean. But Davis needs to have better stitching attach the velcro strips and the velcro itself is fraying.
Summary: I bought the bell boots because I like other Davis products. But these are not worth the money. I'm on my second pair in 2 months and now keep them as a spare set. I'm much happier with a "cheapo no-name" set of bell boots bought at the local Agway.
