Manufacturer: Billy Cook (View all products by Billy Cook Saddlery)
Model: Pro Reiner (View all Pro Reiner reviews)
Category: Reining Saddles
Purchase: I paid $1100 for it, I got is as a second saddle to my Bobs.
Likes: It was comfortable, the leather was okay quality.
Dislikes: The cantle came down far up towards the front end and it made the saddle fit about 1/2" smaller than it was.
Quality: The seat started to crack very quickly, after about 30 rides, near where it attaches to the jockeys. Stitching came out around the same time. The metal "silver" latigo holder bent super easy while holding the latigo, and would probably break after proper use.
Summary: You get what you pay for, I guess. I don't know why people love Billy Cooks of all honesty. It felt like it was made by a 5 year old child, and I had to glue things back into place. After a while it started to feel unsafe to use.
Usefulness Rating: 2.625 out of 5.
