Purchase: I bought this helmet a year ago at Greenhawk, it cost $79.99 when I bought it. i had a bad fall in my IRH helmet and it smashed so I was in need of a new, more durable helmet.

Likes: I really like that the back of the helmet goes very far down, so it protects your entire head. I also love how much this helmet is ventilated, because after a long ride I still feel comfortable.

Dislikes: I dislike how these helmets are mainly for riders doing cross country, or schooling your horse. I ride hunter/jumper and i have to buy a new helmet if i wish to show. Tipperary should make velvet covered helmets for the hunter riders who like their regular helmets. Another big thing I do not like about this helmet; is the visor. The visor is so small and rubbery and it makes me hate riding when the sun is shining because it hurts my eyes and I have trouble seing because of it.

Quality: It is a great quality helmet for the price! Very well made unlike other helmets in a low price range, like this one. It has a low profile design which I also really like, a dropped back for more protection, removable and washable padding, a ventura venting system, and a reflective trim for riders who are riding at night.

Summary: Overall this helmet is very nice with its dropped back and ventilation. But Tipperary needs to fix a few things like make velvet covered version of this helmet, and make a much larger visor. But this helmet is great quality and I would definetly reccomend it, if you are looking for a schooling helmet, or something for cross country.
