Purchase: My horse needed a good quality pad so I bought this from JeffersEquine for $179.99.

Likes: I really like the small size. I couldn't find many other pads sized small enough for my horse that also was a decent quality. The felt bottom seems to be firm but not stiff or coarse.

Dislikes: This pad has memory foam in the center and I wasn't too sure about that because of the possible heat build up.So far, I haven't noticed it being a problem. I also don't like the extreme thickness of this pad. I would have preferred it to be no more than 1" thick.

Quality: When it arrived, It seemed stiff but broke in well. After 6 months of REALLY light use ( maybe used twice a week of mainly walk/trot work,) the layers of wool, foam and felt that is glued together began to separate.

Summary: This is great as long as you don't mind a really thick pad or the layers coming apart.
