Purchase: I got this for my birthday last year from another guy that I ride with. I've seen at at State Line for $29.99.
Likes: This is like an organizer for the ultimate trail rider, or any rider for that matter. Our trial rides last anywhere from 4 hours to 4 days, camping, etc, and this holds the maps, GPS, walkie talkies, you name it, there is room for it. When we go for a few days we have an extra horse for all of our gear. This kit makes it possible for us to carry some of the important stuff.
Dislikes: I think they should make a larger model as well. I have this on my saddle, as well as water bottle holders, rope holders, etc. Maybe someday someone will invent an all in one. but I understand that may get a bit too bulkey and heavy.
Quality: It's a heavy canvas so it's nice at light. It's lasted a lot of rides with only a bit of fraying so far. I am hard on my stuff so I sure it would last the average person a lot longer. If I have to replace it once a year that's fine with me.
Summary: Saddle bags are great, but have a tendency to swallow up some of your smaller items. That's what makes this kit so cool, you can still reach the smaller stuff without digging around for it.
