Category: English Chaps/Boots/Helmets

Purchase: I needed a show pair of boots because my vented volants are not acceptable in dressage. I love the inner calf leather so thought I would try the Monaco boots. I found mine on EBay brand new for $600, what a bargain.. brand new from a clearance store

Likes: I love how these boots feel, comfortable from the first ride, the leather is incredible. Same sticky inner calf leather as the volants. No bruising or blisters at the crack of my ankles.. so in love with these boots

Dislikes: Nothing really. Other than the square toe, which I am not use to, these are amazing quality boots.

Quality: Well constructed.. strong zip. I could be a little concerned about the clip at the back of the knee, , but i didn't purchase these boots for everyday riding

Summary: My calf is wide by ariat standards, and these stretch beautifully and comfortably over my calf. Some later volant models in same sizing had no stretch and were too tall behibd the knee. The Monaco model is perfect in every way for me.. leather quality, stretch, height, fit. Awesome boots
