Purchase: I wore out my old Ariat Extreme winter boots, and it was time to replace them. The latest model of winter paddock boot from Ariat is called "Glacier" and it is redesigned from the previous "Scout", "Expedition", and "Extreme" boots.

Likes: I love a zip up boot for convenience. The Ariat syling is classic and crosses over from barn to city. The new design has a larger toe box, which increases efficiency of keeping toes a little warmer. I live in Minnesota and can't let a below zero temperature keep my from the barn. Ariats are recognized for quality and I frequently sell my older ones at tack swaps to raise funds to buy new ones.

Dislikes: I order a size larger in winter boots to accomodate a thicker sock. I didn't realize the fit would be different due to the toe box redesign, so my new size 11 Glaciers are a little too big. I will be selling them and buying a size 10.
