Purchase: I recieved this saddle as a gift about a year and a half ago. It was bought for $600 at a local tack shop.
Likes: The saddle has wared very well considering how much I use it. The brown's used on it look nice and the color matches easily with other pieces of tack. For the most part it puts me in a nice postition and gives me pretty good contact with my horse.
Dislikes: The saddle isn't the best quality and after awhile in the saddle it starts feeling rather hard. It also has a pretty flat seat which is fine for everyday jumping and hunters but it doesn't "hold" me in as well as I would like over big drops on a cross country course.
Quality: The leather on the saddle is alright but it's not very grippy and is actually a bit slippery at times. The stitching is again alright, it isn't top notch but I wouldn't say it's awful and cheap either. It's held up pretty well.
Summary: The saddle is good for everyday use and puts me in a nice position for jumping. If your looking for a top notch event saddle this definately isn't it but it's great lower level event, hunter,pleasure riding or even a lower level jumper saddle.
The stiching and leather have held up nicely for the amount I use it, as well as getting wet in the water jumps and rain.
