Purchase: I had been researching many different saddles for my coming 3 and a half year old Irish bred gelding and was very impressed with the company. However,my horse did not need a custom saddle so the Hampton Classic Saddle seemed to be a good option.
Likes: I love the soft french leather on the seat and flap. I also love the big balloon-like flaps that are really supportive over the big fences. i also love the fact that a custom company offers a non-custom saddle of the same great quality that a lot of companies do not offer. Also, the seat is really squisy whisch is great for someone who is in the saddle all day. The deep brown color will be a favorite in the hunter ring and a supportive seat in jumpers
Dislikes: There is nothing I did not like.
Quality: The Hampton Classic Saddle comes in one tree size, medium. But I have found that it fits a wide range of horses. Also, these saddles are made with foam panels as opposed to the traditional wool panels. I love the foam panels because, as I said, I have a 3 yr. old and the foam panels will mold to him as he develops. The leather on this saddle is impeccaple. My trainer has a Devoucoux Chilberta and my sister has a Pariani and they both like my saddle better! They come in a range of seat + flap sizes.
Summary: The company has great customer service, fabulous saddles that fit great and feel great. I feel that these are without doubt the best saddles made today.
