Model: Black Country Equinox (View all Black Country Equinox reviews)
Category: Trail Saddles
Dislikes: The Equinox has a "funny" look to it because it is a mono flap. The billets are on the outer part of the flap so they sit just under your leg. The surge panals also look different because its a gray materal insted of leather. Once you get past the look-WOW what a ride.
Quality: The quality of this saddle is superb! The flocking in the panels is a soft, resilient white wool that is soft and comfortable for the horse. This saddle is also available in lots of different leathers, and the company is able to accommodate custom specification in a remarkably short time. I would order from Trumbull mtn. again and again!! My friend has had her Equinox for 2 years, she rides in it for miles and miles and it still looks new.
