Purchase: I called them direct and had the saddle built the way I wanted it for my daughter. It is a 14" Barrel saddle and I paid 550.00 plus shipping.
Likes: I like that I got to design the saddle. I got to pick the leather color, seat material and color, tree type and size. It is a full custom saddle built for one-third the price I could get anywhere else. I was very skeptical at first but Jerry Payne who is the manager there talked to me for hours and walked me very slowly through the ordering process and made sure everything went right.
Dislikes: I am ording myself a roper from this same company right now if that says anything about how much I liked the barrel. And my daugher Loves it!
Quality: The saddle is built better than any I have seen in stores for years. The carving on the saddle which was a nice floral design is rich and deep. The seat has so much padding you feel like your floating on air. And the swells really hold you in well. The quality of the workmanship is unmatched.
Summary: As I said as soon as my daughter rode her saddle a couple of times I turned right around and ordered myself a roping saddle. I told Jerry what color to make it and to surprise me from there on out. I really trust this company. I know for 600.00 that I am paying for the roper I will get a true work of art.
