Purchase: I actually bought this helmet used (had been used for a month, not fallen in, no damage at all). For about $75 in CDN funds. They sell new for $169.95 at my local Greenhawk.
Likes: Well, I wanted one of these helmets for a long time. When I finally buckled down and got one, I nearly cried with happiness, it was everything I wanted and more. It looks so good on me, very modern, especially with the rhinestones, and it's light. The vents on the black stripe (I like conservative, not tacky silver) keep my head cool, and it is a light weight helmet made of a durable material that resists water and staining.
Dislikes: After my helmet got wet, (rode in the rain) the fabric covering it, got a weird texture to it and bits of it fell off (nothing noticable at all, but I wouldnt leave it in the rain and then take a towel to it.) After air-drying it, there is no damage. When you look closely at the helmet, the texture is odd, but it is not noticable from more than 5 inches back.
Quality: High quality in my opinion. Certified, so it is safe and durable to ride in, with an awesome harness system. Easy to take care of, and it looks GREAT.
Summary: This is a great helmet for any rider looking to spend a little extra for quality and style, but not willing to put out $400.00 for a GPA that looks almost exactly the same.
