Purchase: I bought these at Split Rail Tack in Erin, Ontario for only $44.95 but they were the last pair, and were a special order.
Likes: These are really excellent half chaps. The price is great, they are comfortable, and broke in very quickly. I was worried the zipper would break, but it hasn't even hinted at that.
I also like that I don't know ANYONE with these. Everyone has cheap velcro ones, or expensive ariat ones that in my opinion look really tacky.
Dislikes: The fact that I will cry when these fall apart, or they become to small.
Quality: Excellent quality, all around. The concept of these "half chaps" is that they are actually shorter than conventional half chaps, which is great for people with a short leg, like mine. They are stretchy, and expand easily to fit your leg, not just hang there. The suede is soft, and very comfortable to ride in.
Summary: These are my favourite half chaps in the entire world. I don't think I could ride in any other pair.
