Purchase: Well it was my girlfriends birthday right after Christmas and so I figured rather than buy her a bunch of small gifts I would buy her the one large gift she wanted most. I paid $1,400 for it at one of our local tack shops. She later nicely told me I could have got it cheaper other places.
Likes: Speaking second hand she tells me it helps keep her in the correct position more than her old saddle which had seen better days years ago. In particular she says the seat is very deep which I think gives her additional support.
Dislikes: She loves, but as for me I never realized saddles cost so much. Also, I don't know a lot about horses, but you would think the saddles would come pre-conditioned. For the life of me I can't understand why they wouldn't work them over with saddle soap and a good water repellant before they the factory. For the price they should have.
Quality: This I can tell you is first class. After getting it home and before I wrapped it I gave it a very close inspection. The seams are flawless and it's put together almost like a piece of metal the way everything fits.
Summary: She's happy, I'm happy. Definitely her best saddle she's ever owned. Hopefully it will last for many years to come.
