Purchase: I contacted Freeform USA to find out about availability and they had a demo model available at a discounted price of $1050. I was inquiring about the saddle because I wanted to purchase a treeless saddle after going through 5 different saddles in less than two years for my Thoroughbred.
Likes: EXTREMELY comfortable! Excellent quality leather. I LOVE the adjustable stirrup placement so that I can move it back for dressage riding or a bit forward for jumping.
Dislikes: It does have 11 D-rings for attaching packs (for trail riding), which as a dressage rider I don't really need. They are attached with black nylon fittings that are sewn into the leather. They could be cut off, but on close inspection, the nylon would still show. For dressage or jumping purposes, I would recommend NOT getting the extra D-rings.
Quality: Very good construction. Unlike other treeless saddles I have tried, it definitely has a twist that is very supportive, even on my narrower horse.
Summary: Excellent quality saddle for the price. I definitely like it better than other more expensive treeless options.
