Purchase: I bought these breeches at a local tack shop. I paid $60 for them. I had seen them as cheap as $54, but that was in a catalog and i didn't want to pay shipping. I bought these breeches because I was looking for a reliable pair that would hold up more than 6 months worth of riding.
Likes: Wow. That's all I can really say. Wow. These breeches are AMAZING! I have now had them over a year, and not a single tear! In the past, every pair of breeches I bought was ripped to shreds within 6 months. The fabric is four-way stretch, which means that it moves with you, and then goes right back into place. They have excellent give, just the right amount. They are thin, but not too thin, which means that you stay cool in the summer but warm in the winter. The fabric does as it claims - whisks away moisture from your skin, keeping you nice and cool. The zipper is extra heavy duty, and I haven't had any issues with it sticking. The velcro on the legs has held up fairly well, but some thread has gotten caught in it, so it is not quite as sticky.
Dislikes: One of the knee patches had started to separate from the pants. It is very slight, but still a sign of wear. The fabric has stretched over time and repeated wear, and now when you hold them up, it is a mirror picture of my not-so-slim legs. These breeches are machine washable, but - as with most breeches - line dry only. This can be a little bit of pain, but not too bad. Because the fabric is not extremely thick, I have terrible underwear lines. I also wish they had them in a shorter length, as I have short legs and they are a little long of me, but not bad.
Quality: The fabric is 90% Tactel, and 10% lycra. The stitching is nice, and has held up well. The fabric is incredibly soft, and very easy on the skin.
Summary: Overall, I love these breeches. I don't think I'll ever switch brands again!
