Purchase: I bought this saddle slightly used 4 years ago for $2700.00 from a friend who had ordered it new from a tack shop and did not like it, although I cannot imagine why.
Likes: This is the perfect jumping saddle! It fits my leg (from knee to ankle) exactly where it needs to in order to get over the jumps with security. The seat is shallow enough to keep me comfortable whether I am sitting the canter or I am in my two-point. My PJ fits like a glove and I am extremely happy with it.
Dislikes: There is nothing I dislike about this saddle. When people complain about the price I think of what an incredible value it is. It (in my opinion) is a saddle comparable to a Hermes, at a much better price. Also, as an adult rider, this is a saddle I will have for the rest of my life.
Quality: Shallow seat, suitable for hunter/jumper riders. Soft, supple leather.
Summary: My only concern with this saddle is that mine was foam flocked. I had to send it to my saddlemaster to have it stuffed with wool flocking. Also, I had to have it adjusted it to fit the wide back of my warmblood.
