Purchase: I bought both of these blankets (one for my pony, one for my horse) at Dover Saddlery for $165 each.
Likes: This is by far the best turnout blanket I've ever bought. It truly is ripstop; my pony was known for tearing up blankets, and his still looks brand new after two years. The matieral is 1680 ballistic nylon on the outside (210 denier lining), and comes with a two-year no rip or tear guarantee. I bought the heavyweight style, so it has 350 grams of poly fill insulation. It has a nice, deep fit, with adjustable criss-cross surcingles, leg straps, and two clip and dee front closures -- a very adjustable blanket! There's a extra-long tail flap and fleece protection at the withers, as well as shoulder gussets and a waterproof and breathable shell. It also looks great; cool colors and design!
Dislikes: There really isn't anything I don't like about this blanket.
Quality: The quality is excellent; the material is ripstop, very durable, yet breathable as well. It's very well constructed; everyhting is made to be functional as well as durable. The fit is amazing.
Summary: This is an excellent turnout blanket, as good as or better as the Rambos and other top-of-the-line blankets, at a great price.
