Purchase: I bought these wraps at Calabasas Saddlery in Calabasas, CA. I mainly bought them, and I know this will sound sad, because they are light blue! nevertheless, I was also intrigued by their two different layers. I paid about $50.00 for them.
Likes: I like the two layers of fabric. The inner layer is grey on the outside and white on the inside, which I believe Eskadrom calls the "climatex" fabric. The white side feels almost like terry-cloth. This layer absorbs the horse's sweat well, leaving my horse's legs nice and dry after a workout. I just used them today doing a gymnastic in a lesson, and my horse's legs were pretty dry. The second layer , which is joined to the first, is elasticised and is the color that is seen. The bandage is held together by a double lock velcro closure, which works very well.
Dislikes: I don't really see anything wrong with them. Maybe one thing is they maybe overtightened by someone who is not used to putting on more ellasticy wraps, but it has not been a problem for me personally.
Quality: They are of fabulous quality, as are most things by eskadron. The bandages look as good as when I bought them. I don't use them every time I ride, but they have been used a bit, and none of the stitching or velcro has come loose.
Summary: A great product, especially for flatwork and dressage.
