Purchase: I bought this saddle from a tack store online and paid $1200 (plus free Pessoa leathers).
Likes: I love the balance, comfort, and support the saddle provides. It seems to fit most horses as well.
Dislikes: I had always heard that Pessoa saddles were great, very durable, excellent quality, and will last a long time. Therefore, I decided to pay a little more and get a "quality" saddle that will last. Unfortunately, the stitching came out where the flap and knee roll connect, and the billets from my girth have almost worn a hole through the flap on the right side (even though the billet flap covers my girth billets), and the dye has come out of both flaps.
Quality: Poor quality, I have only had the saddle for 3 months and it hasn't held up at all! Plus, I am having difficulty trying to exchange the saddle, the Pessoa rep doesn't want to take the saddle back.
Summary: I am very disappointed in the quality and service provided by Pessoa. I doubt I will ever purchase another Pessoa item and will make sure I share my experience with everyone who is debating on buying a Pessoa item.
