Purchase: I bought my pair of Ariat Crowne Pro Zip Field Boots at Calabasas Saddlery for about $550. I wanted high quality field boots that were cheaper than customs, but came in many different heights/sizes. I needed a pair for showing and schooling and I came across these boots. They were by far the best boots that were there besides customs.
Likes: I love these boots. The quality is amazing and they broke in after the first day. The sole and foot of these boots is very comfy and you can wear them all day and not get sore. They grip very well to the saddle, even better than chaps. The zipper also is very handy and they are easy to get on and off. They come in so many different sizes and heights that they fit anyone.
Dislikes: There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about these boots. The only thing that is bad is that they are pretty expensive for off the rack boots.
Quality: The quality of these boots is amazing. After you condition them, they feel like butter. The sole is very strong and does not slip in the stirrup like some other boots. The style of these boots is very appealing and stylish. You have to feel these boots to know how soft the leather actually is.
Summary: The Ariat Crowne Pro Zip's are by far the best tall boots besides customs. They are worth every penny and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for high end field boots that fit and feel like customs.
