Purchase: I bought this saddle through my local tack shop almost four years ago. It was my first saddle, and I paid $450 for it.
Likes: This saddle was affordable, surprisingly comfortable for the price, and nice looking. It fits numerous horses and riders well. I used it on my plump 14.1 hand pony, a lanky TB, my warmblood, and my trainer's 17.1 HH behemoth. It also fits long legged riders well as it has a comfortably forward flap.
Dislikes: The biggest problem was the early wear this saddle began to show. The seat was comfortable but the flaps were stiff. The leather stain also rubs off, and while not lightening the saddle does a good job of darkening your rear end.
Quality: The main problem with this saddle was the leather quality. After a few months the leather developed a split above the stirrup bar. The pommel began to split as well after about two years in numerous places.
Summary: This is a decent starting saddle and quite comfortable for the long legged riders. It is a nice bargain for the money. I ride about 5 days a week, but I think this saddle is better suited for someone who rides less frequently.
