Purchase: Purchased from KY Horse Supply for $21.99 as a day-before-the-show replacement to my rather tattered and discolored old saddle pad. I was going to a dressage show the next day and wanted a nice white dressage pad that would look respectable.
Likes: It fits really well to the saddle, it has extra long billet straps so it even fits my super-forward jumping saddle if I want to use it for jumping too. It is attractive looking, quilted and white with black piping. It cleans easy too - just throw it in the washing machine. The fabric is antimicrobial and anti fungal, which I like because my horse is prone to skin fungi due to Anhidrosis. The curve on the "spine" of the pad ensures a nice air flow under the saddle when you ride as well - and it prevents the pad from pressing on the withers.
Dislikes: My winter riding boots have velcro straps at the top, which snagged the fabric and caused it to fuzz up where my boots lie, so that could test the strength and quality of the fabric & craftsmanship.
Quality: Available in more than white with black piping - a variety of colors. Silk green stripe with HDR logo along the top of the saddle pad. Quilted, Antimicrobial & Anti fungal layered/polyfilled saddle pad.
Summary: a decent last-minute saddle pad. Will retire for a schooling pad because of the fuzzing caused by my boots.
