Purchase: I ordered these gloves off State Line Tack for $25.00 about 3 months ago. I had some really cheap, ratty gloves that I was just tired of wearing and decided to get some gloves that were great quality and would last a while.
Likes: I love how they look (I have black ones), and they give you great grip on the reins. When they get dusty, i can just shake them off and they are black again. They have like a velvet-like material on the top and a very grippy material on the palms and are very easy to ride in. I have not had any problems with them. Because I have small wrists, the Velcro adjustment can fit great every time.
Dislikes: In the winter, they are not very warm but they are not winter gloves so I don't expect them too. They do keep your hands from absolutely freezing though. In the summer, they don't make your hands really sweaty from the sun and humidity. They are great to ride in if its not super super cold outside.
Quality: They are great quality and I would highly recommend them. Me not being someone who likes to spend a lot of money, but I knew that SSG's were great quality, and would last for a really long time, and not go buy a new pair of gloves after a year or so of wearing them once a week like my old pair of gloves.
Summary: I will definitely buy another pair of SSG gloves when I need some more because they are such great quality and give you everything you need in gloves when your riding. I really like them a lot!
