Purchase: I bought this blanket from equestrian collections for about $110. It's a very good deal for your money. It shipped relatively slowly, but that was because I didn't know it was back ordered. I purchased it for my new horse, a 16 hand Hanoverian to go over his stable blanket.
Likes: It's an excellent deal for your money; you get the quality and durability I've come to expect from Horseware products without spending $300. It stays in place really well, even if my horse is out all day and sleeps in it at night for 3 days straight (and believe me, he loves to roll!). If it gets dirty, I can just brush off the dirt (if its muddy, I let it dry overnight and brush the dirt off the next day). The navy and silver color combination is very attractive.
Dislikes: The blanket tends to not fit very well, regardless of what type of horse you have. I saw it look kind of big and bunchy in some places on the model, but thought that the blanket was simply too big for it. But when I tried it on my horse, it was too big in some places but not in the chest and rump. The next size down, a 75 was too tight (my horse measures a 78 or so). However, despite the slightly sloppy appearance it occasionally gives, it stays in place perfectly well. There is also a somewhat large diamond-shaped gap between the hood and the blanket. This appears to be present on all Horseware blankets, but doesn't seem to bother my horse all too much.
Quality: The quality is relatively good, around an 8.5 or 9 out of 10. The tail strap snaps seem to be rather weak (the snap on mine broke within a week of purchase). Aside from that, though, my horse is extremely tough on blankets and rips everything that isn't like iron, and I have had this blanket for about 3 months and it has yet to show a scratch.
Summary: This is an excellent blanket for an affordable price. It is pretty attractive aside from the fact that its a little big in some areas. Aside from that, it's an incredible blanket and I would recommend it to anyone looking for Horseware quality at a WeatherBeeta price.
