Purchase: Purchased from Prospect Horse & Rider, KY for $18.99, new in the colour black. It was a very low priced noseband, but great quality leather. My horse ONLY goes well in a figure eight noseband, and my last "cheap" one had worn out to the point of cracking & breaking. I didn't have a fortune to spend on a new noseband, so I gave this one a go.
Likes: It is a FANTASTIC quality noseband for the price. The leather is "finished" on both sides with nickel-plated rings & buckles. Super orange fleecy padded center piece on the noseband. Both pieces of the flash are adjustable, as is the crown of the noseband. The leather has a nice luster to it, and is still in great condition after some super drool-jobs from my horse. I love that the price is so low for such a great quality product. It looks very professional, and fits my Thoroughbred's head VERY nicely, unlike many other nosebands I have tried on him. I will go back and get the brown one, which was a little more expensive, to go in my jumping bridle. It's a GREAT noseband!
Dislikes: Nothing so far - time will test this noseband's strength and overall quality.
Quality: GREAT noseband for the price paid. Durable, shiny black leather will all nickel-plated hardware ((rings & buckles)). Fuzzy orange nose padding on the centerpiece. Great product from Tory Leather.
Summary: GREAT noseband - I will go back and get a 2nd one for jumping use.
