Purchase: Received as Christmas gift.
I went with this saddle, because I am not one of the slender type riders, and this is one of the few with a 15 1/2 inch seat.
The price was $1699.00 at a local retailer in Blackfoot Idaho.
Likes: Secure seat. Conformed to my horse perfectly. Absolutely gorgeous saddle. The tooling is very high quality.
Dislikes: There are a few minor lack of attention to detail.
Hate the nylon cinch billets. Chintzy. They should have done leather. It was inexpensive however, to take to a local saddler and replace with regular latigo.
I do not like the exposed screws on the gullet. However, it is not touching my horse's skin, so I am okay with that.
Quality: Excellent.
Summary: This is a lot of money as compared to some other barrel saddles. If you want looks and function, than this is the saddle.
It should fit a narrow or medium quarter horse perfect. I would try it out for fit however if your horse is wide.
I rated it a four, due to the nylon billets and it is on the high side for price.
