Purchase: I bought the first of many Tod Slone Saddle Pads from Tod Slone Saddlery. I paid about $100 plus shipping. I liked the quality and being a natural fiber, I knew my horse would appreciate a more comfortable pad.
Likes: I like the overall quality of construction and the wool felt which has oil tan wear leathers.
Dislikes: I have no dislike of these pads.
Quality: These pads are available in several thicknesses. I prefer the 1 inch but my wife leans more towards the 3/4 inch thickness. The wear leathers are very good quality oil tan leather. I have washed some of my pads numerous times at the car wash using high pressure soap and rinse and they always come out looking like new. They will last a long time.
Summary: The Tod Slone wool felt saddle pads are a 'best tack' item for anyone who rides a horse doing performance or trail.
