Purchase: I bought these gloves from State Line Tack for $15.
Likes: I love these gloves because there's no velcro or straps to fasten when you want to take them on or off in a hurry. They're VERY comfortable, and stretch easily with your hand.
Dislikes: The same feature that makes these gloves stretchy and lightweight also allows dust and dirt to go right through them. Expect your hands to be dirty when you take these gloves off. Also, if you get them wet while you're wearing them, the leather parts bleed badly. Lastly, these gloves are a hair magnet, so don't groom a shedding horse while wearing these!
Quality: I've been wearing these gloves for at least three years and none of the leather has fallen off. I've ridden with laced reins, web reins, rubber reins, wet reins, and oily reins, and these gloves haven't failed. However, I did tear a seam on the left side of my left hand when I was taking these gloves off too violently. After I sewed them, they were as good as new.
Summary: If you have big hands, these gloves will not fit you. Other than that, these are really great gloves at a great price. They're light enough to keep your hands from sweating, but durable enough to give you a good grip on the reins. I've even stacked hay with these gloves.
