Purchase: Came with a saddle that I bought on eBay, but retails for about $250 I believe.
Likes: Nicely padded, as advertised. And not the cheap padding either! Beautiful leather and nice roller buckles. Ergonomic shape provides elbow room so that the girth is less likely to slip.
Dislikes: The elastic doesn't seem to give. Maybe elastic at the buckles without the leather in the way would help????
Quality: It is beautiful and will last a long time. Excellent craftsmanship and the leather is the top of the line- very soft (unlike the Lorica girths from some of the French companies which are very very stiff and have minimal padding). Though there isn't any stretching that I can tell, my horse doesn't mind the girth.
Summary: Very high quality, but if you want/need some elasticity then this is not the way to go. I think it is kind of difficult to really get it tight without too tight.
