Purchase: Although it sells in a number of places, I purchased my Grand Complete at Stateline Tack (Petsmart) because I could just go pick it up. First time to try it. I paid about $45 for it.
Likes: This supplement has a little something for coats (omegas), joints (glucosamine and MSM), hooves (biotin-methionine), and digestion (yeast). I have four horses and wanted one bucket, not a zillion. All of the horses found it palatable. I found it affordable and easy to find. Having all these in one allows the manufacturers (read as experts) to mix the supplements so that they don't counter indicate or get out of balance and cause problems! Very important.
Dislikes: My one complaint is that like most products it's powdered and takes 2 scoops. I also wish they'd have added more probiotics than yeast, but that's just me. It would have been icing on the cake.
Quality: It's been six weeks, and yes - this is working. I have a 20yo gelding given to me because of undiagnosable arthritis and 2 days ago (after 6 weeks of feeding this) he was playing like a colt. So was my 26 year old. It was awesome! I can see the difference in their coats, too - winter coast shining like it's summer. Too early for hooves, but I suspect I will see the same.
Summary: Although some horses need more concentrated help in the areas in which this supplement works, this is a great basic supplement to help all around and get your horses feeling better without spending hundreds and cluttering your tack room with a witch's brew of different supplements.
