Purchase: I bought this at a tack store because I wanted more of a shoe or hiking boot than the regular paddock boots. I paid $80.00.
Likes: I wanted a nice comfortable shoe and these worked out very nice, at first! easy to walk around in and then I could just jump on and ride with them too. This only lasted for two months.
Dislikes: After two months of use, and I do mean use. I really use my boots for all kinds of barn work. I noticed that some cracking started by the toe, this lead to flaking, which lead to big holes on both sides of my boots. Ariat markets these boots as durable, which they are defiantly not!!! I wore mine out with in 8 months of use. Water was leaking in and holes kept getting bigger!! Defiantly NOT a durable. These maybe okay if all you want to do is ride in them, but if you plan on walking these boots will NOT last!!
Quality: Very nice and comfortable to start off with, doesn't last long. The leather doesn't last, and can not take the work load or a "work boot".
Summary: I would recommend this boot for people to ride in only. It does no good as a barn boot!!! And is NOT worth the money!!
