Purchase: I purchased this saddle new from a local tack shop about five months ago. I had seen the post graduate in almost every tack shop and catalogue I had, and I liked the fact that it had the changeable gullet. I purchased this saddle for $980.
Likes: It has a very comfortable seat and the leather quality was good. The color is nice. It looked good in the catalogue.
Dislikes: Everything else. I do not believe this saddle was designed right. The flaps seem like they are four inches too forward. I don't know if it is because I usually ride in equitation and my leg is right underneath me or because saddles are being made for people with bad equitation. The flaps were also designed for very short stirrups which I prefer not to ride in. I did not feel secure in the saddle at all.
Quality: The quality was great. The design was poor.
Summary: I believe this saddle would be good for a jumping saddle only. I found that when I was doing flat work, the saddle did not fit my needs. I would not recommend this saddle to anyone who focuses more on flat work or equitation.
