Model: Repel X (View all Repel-X Concentrate reviews)
Category: Fly Control
Purchase: Rural King. pint concentrate for $19.
Likes: I can mix it up when I need it. It is oil and water based. It actually works- and I have worked on a horse farm where the flies are a huge problem (near the Shawnee National Forest). Though it works until the horse gets wet or really sweats, I think it is a good trade-off. It is the only "spray" that I have found works. Beats Endure and Supershield.
Dislikes: The smell. You can definitely tell it is a pesticide/repellent.
Quality: Think it does its purpose about as good as can be expected.
Summary: Good, economical fly spray. Does seem to kill the spray bottles though- probably from the oil-based components. When I couple this with Freedom Spot-On, my horse is totally fly-free, well, until she gets wet I guess.
Usefulness Rating: 1.5 out of 5.
