Purchase: This saddle is just as the name states, the ultimate barrel saddle. the forward hung stirrups are the first thing you notice when you sit in the saddle. It is like sitting in a comfortable chair, the stirrups help you keep the proper body position while making your run. The saddle is very comfortable and fits the horse well. I like the drop rigging as it hugs the horse and provides a more comfortable, secure feel for the horse as well as a close contact feel for the rider. The silver accents that come standard are a plus!
Likes: For a factory saddle you can not fault it. They have done an excellent job of making an extremely well thought out specialized saddle that works and have kept it in a price range that makes it available to the mainstream weekend barrel racer as well as the pro.
Dislikes:
Quality: It would be nice to have an opportunity to have one handmade of the finest quality materials available, but since that isn't possible this is the next best thing.
Summary: Whether you are new to barrel racing or an old hand, this saddle will improve your riding. It puts you where you need to be and keeps you there.
