Purchase: recently acquired a cowlings saddle as i was looking for one to work my horse in this saddle was advertised as being a versatile show saddle with the benefits of being able to fit the horse with absolutely no rubbing and a comfortable correct seat for the rider
Likes: i like the color it was a unique tan and also the design in general was nice looked elegant with out being over bulky
Dislikes: the seat was very hard riding even for some one who rides everyday i foundit uncomfortable it throw your legs back behind you you were always above the horse and never with him
it was also very heavy very hard to lift and fit right with out having to figet around with getting it correct
Quality: the unit was of good quality material with genuine leather and a fiberglass tree the silver was a little bland but general of good quality
Summary: my thoughts on this saddle is it needs the stirrups brought forward more padding in the seat and less in the fleece lining maybe a different fiberglass tree supplier wont benefit this saddlier
