Purchase: I first acquired Coldflex Leg Wraps trough my sister, and I automatically liked the product. Since then I have found the wraps in Valley Vet and Smart Pak. The wraps are around 17.00 to 25.00 dollars.
Likes: Coldflex works 10 times better than any other cold compress product I have tried, this product pulls heat from the horses body instead of forcing cold in. One of its best features is that the wrap is self cooling; it can be kept in a barn or trailer it does not need to be refrigerated! Coldflex was self adhesive, I left it on my horse’s leg all day long, and the only maintenance it required was hosing it down when it needed to be re-hydrated or put away. I have used my 1 wrap over 20 times. I have to say I really love this product even my horse could eat it cause it's non toxic!
Dislikes: The only problem that I have found with the wrap is that when you put it away if it is too wet or sits in water, it could mold. Not a big problem unless your super lazy.
Quality: Coldflex is made of elastic foam that is injected with gelled water. It is flexible, durable, and reusable. It holds up great, you can reuse it around 25 times! Now that’s quality.
Summary: Don’t be a fool wrap your horse’s most valuable tool... with coldflex!
