Purchase: I bought this saddle from a dealer and paid $1200 for it which included leathers, stirrups and girth.
Likes: I love the forward flaps that gave a lot of room to move the leg for bigger jumps.
Dislikes: The leather was very hard and extremely hard to break in. The leather was very smooth and slippery which made it hard to keep your leg steady even in full chaps. The saddle being new and extremely hard leather it was almost like riding the saddle more than riding your horse. It was hard to feel the horse's movements. I honestly would not buy this saddle again due to this. Maybe after a lot of use the leather will break in but in the beginning it very uncomfortable to ride.
Quality: The stitching and overall quality is a 6. The leather quality is a 5. The way it was made and the idea of how it would sit a rider over fence is an 8.
Summary: I would not buy the saddle again. I feel there are other brands out there that are better leather quality for $1000-1,200 USD. It does have some good qualities but not for a serious rider/trainer.
